Coaching
It is about creating the right environment for staff to deliver, grow, and realise their potential. This must be achieved whilst delivering results for the business.
This programme concentrates on the behaviours and skills required of managers to gain the cooperation of staff to meet objectives and deliver results.
Managers leave the programme with an action plan and a series of tools and models that will prove invaluable in their day to day management of all staff but especially their direct reports.
Who should attend?
Anyone who is responsible for the performance of others or seeks to get the most out of people, one to one.
The two days of the programme are separated by three weeks in order that delegates can practice and cement the learning of Day One.
Group size is kept to 8 in order to ensure appropriate personal attention is given to each delegate.
Day One
Practical tools & skills required of an effective coach
- Gaining buy-in to personal objectives
- Delegation Structure a coaching session
- Constructing a development plan
- Determining which KPI’s to monitor
- Reporting procedures/briefing
Day Two
Practical application of skills in different situations
- Managing through unacceptable performance
- Understanding individual motivation
- Generating personal responsibility in staff
- Running an appraisal meeting
- Creating a collaborative culture
